Cruelty Free Makeup Artist Sydney

That’s my rabbit Betty in the photo, did you know her breed is commonly used in labs for animal testing, as well as beagle dogs, mice and primates. As an animal lover (so therefore vegan), I am passionate about working with brands that uphold the same values and morals I have. This means since 2020 I have only used products that are clearly animal cruelty free and mostly vegan!

It may come as a big surprise to a lot of makeup wearers that your well-known brands such as Estée Lauder, MAC, Clinique, Bonni Brown, Benefit and all the luxury brands like Chanel, Armani, Nars, Dior and Lancome etc allow animal testing of their products.

It is a confusing area as many brands, including those mentioned above are sold in China where animal testing is mandatory by law for foreign cosmetics. Which means they allow and fund the animal testing so that they can increase their profit margins by being sold in China. So it’s extra important to read the fine print on all of your makeup as many brands are deliberately misleading as they claim to be cruelty-free but then include a clause about “except when required by law”.

Worrying? Yes, but luckily, we have options. I have done a lot of thorough research so that if this is a concern for you then you can be confident that my kit is cruelty free. My team also understand this is important to me so have also been working on cruelty free kits too, so their kits are mostly but not all cruelty free.

Cruelty free brands that are mainly vegan too in our kits are:

Hourglass

Charlotte Tilbury

Face Atelier

Mecca Max

Cruelty free brands also in our kits but are not vegan:
