Originally inspired by the 90’s style made famous by Pamela Anderson hence known as “The Pammy” this style has evolved into an iconic trend. It’s a great way to show off the back of a dress and keep your neck cool in the heat and it suits just about anyone. There are so many variations depending on how sleek or textured you would like it so we can put your stamp on it but to give you some ideas here are a few of our recent favourites.

HALF UP HALF DOWN
The half up half down hairstyle is popular because it's best of both worlds and most people love their hair down but need the front secured to stay neat and more weather and dance resistant.

THE SLEEK BUN
Tame those flyaways and grab the shine spray as sleek and polished is the epitome of elegance and fast becoming a classic style that is here to stay.
THE PONYTAIL
When you have fabulous, long, thick hair and want an updo to keep you cool this is a great way to still show off all your hair.
If you don't have thick hair then clip in extensions are recommended for this style.
WAVES
Soft and bouncy waves, voluminous glam waves, sleek waves, vintage Hollywood waves.
Waves are here to stay and there are so many variations of them so you can put your spin on them.
Recently we’ve seen more people opting for softer variations of waves and curls that mimic a blow-dry and have lots of movement but the classic glam waves are still our most requested hair down style.
Glam/Hollywood Waves normally need clip in extensions to create volume and hold for this style as you need enough hair for the hair to be moulded together so it doesn’t split and to achieve the volume but the good news is our brides get a discount with Zala.
